This is an excellent hotel. Very friendly Staff! They are always accommodating. Rooms are clean and the facility has a warm environment. I’ve stayed numerous times and never disappointed.
Checked in and immediately found a bug on the pillow. Looking further, there was what seems to be a bed bug on the window curtain, and what seems to be a bed bug crushed on the otherwise stained carpet, then another crushed on the curtain. There were dirty footprints in the shower and mystery stains on the floors, ceiling, and lampshade. There was dirt and hair in the bed frame and crumbs on the stool. You could see dirt under the sheets and mattress protector. This hotel is not in a condition to stay in, especially at the price of $200 per night that we paid. Management has been extremely unhelpful and has not given us a refund despite us informing them about the bed bugs and overall condition of the room. We were not even in the room 30 minutes before we left. This is unacceptable, do not stay here unless you would like to bring bed bugs back with you. Also see the other page they have for the same address that has 3.2 stars rather than the 4 here.
Very conveniently located, quick ride to downtown and surrounding areas of Portland. Hotel is new, clean, and NO CARPET!!! I think all hotels should get rid of carpets.. The only concern would be if small child, walls are pretty thin especially rooms around the elevator. Unsure if suites. But quick trip in Portland, I would definitely go back.
I booked my stay about 1 month prior to my visit. The price that I paid was ASTRONOMICAL and not worth it. Do not pay more than $160.00 to stay at this hotel per night.
It is *redone* but not fully. I could see drywall, primer, and the contractor's measurements behind the door in the bathroom. The location wasn't great. I would not recommend.
I stayed at the hotel for one night on 9/19/2023. The free shuttle the hotel provides was a terrible experience. When I arrived at Jetport it was almost midnight and I called the hotel several times and nobody would answer and once they hung up on me and said they couldn't hear me. When the Shuttle finally did arrive I got to the hotel at midnight. I confirmed my room the day before I arrived but they told me my reservation has been cancelled! This was horrible news. I was not about to go to another hotel by Uber at 1:00 am. It was my first time in Maine so I was not familiar with the City. They managed to give me a room but I was charged more than when I booked my hotel a month prior. The room itself was nice but customer service was very poor. They are not informative on their policies and not at all nice at checkout. It was not a great experience and I will not be staying at this hotel in the future. I only wish now I had asked to seen a Manager. Some of the Staff need to look for another job because they lack customer service by a long shot.
Friendly, helpful staff, clean, updated, lovely facilities, especially the bathroom! The shower, hot water and water pressure were excellent for me. Less motel and more hotel, imo... My only complaints were the sparse laundromat (1 washer and 1 dryer for 4 floors) and lack of WiFi. It stormed, which I loved, but the TV kept kicking out. I dont know that they could've done anything about that last item anywhere, though.
I will always recommend this hotel. This May I was on a road trip when my dad suddenly died 3,000 miles from home. The staff was kind and courteous. They gave me a place to figure out my travel plans and attend my college graduation. They checked on me daily and ensured help with getting.
A senior group from Kentucky took on a week long trip to see lighthouses & experience different foods & stories from the past!!! The hotel was there after full days of seeing the ocean & past scenes of this area's. A turned down bed awaited us with hot showers & full breakfast n the morns!!!
